The Opportunity:

As a Contract Administrator, you will collaborate closely with directors, project managers, subcontractors, and various stakeholders. Your role will ensure compliance with legal standards, project timelines, and contractual commitments. You will handle document management, contract reviews, cost tracking, invoicing/progress claiming, and other general administrative tasks.

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, including subcontract agreements, variations, purchase orders, invoices, and progress claims.
  • Ensure contract documentation is accurate and compliant with obligations.
  • Track and manage contract variations and program extensions.
  • Maintain an organised filing system for project-related documents like contracts, drawings, correspondence, and reports.
  • Distribute contract documents to stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and revisions.
  • Track project costs, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Prepare reports on project costs, budget variances, and financial projections.
  • Support progress claims, invoices, and payment applications in line with contract requirements.
  • Foster communication and collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients for smooth project execution.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing relevant information and facilitating discussions to resolve disputes.
  • Participate in project meetings, offering updates on contract status, cost trends, and potential risks.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Open to all experience levels, with comprehensive training and professional growth support provided.
  • Preferred experience in construction contract administration or project management.
  • Beneficial to have knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team setting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
